NIC's shoulder: I'm concerned

    that this has been going on for a while now - is it more serious then we think? and what is the actual diagnosis?

    He looked fine in the fanfest with his supposed "bum shoulder." I'm sure they'll limit his minutes this pre-season and hopefully with enough time it will heal on it's own. If there was some kind of structural problem (that couldn't be healed with rest) they would have likely taken care of it back in August when he came back to Portland to be evaluated by team doctors. :dunno:

    How is it still on-going? Was it the reason why he was out the 2nd game??

    Not according to Nate, apparently Nic and Rudy were held out for rest ... I tend to buy that, since it's likely he needs to get a good look at Martell (and Martell needs a lot of game action to get his groove back).

    At this point worrying about this or speculating about it is pretty much like a dog chasing its tail.

    I wouldn't be concerned. Like 5 players got DNP's in the second game, not just Nic. Including Joel.
