Kp made a bad decision by trading no one and adding Miller. It looks great on paper, adding a proven veteran onto a 54 win roster and not having to let go of any talent to land him, but in terms of chemistry and touches it could possibly create more problems then if we had just stayed pat from last year. And Millers unhappiness and Roy's struggling seem to be a preview of what may destroy a potentially amazing season unless we finally go through with a consolidation trade, a trade that should have been made right when we first signed Miller and not half way throuugh the year. It also highlights KP's biggest weakness in my opinion, his man crushes on players he brought into the system.

hcp... i am brutally honest is what i am. ive been right quite a few times. the problem with you is, the blazers are perfect. its like listening to a blazer broadcast. i mean, i love barrett and rice but man you are like a clone on here. i give props when they are due.

im pointing out issues this team has, and you can easily see that chemistry will be an issue, playing time is a problem and miller is gonna whine if he doesnt start. obviously judging from the recent miller article... im not the only one who sees trouble ahead. all these issues scream loudly "letdown"

now go run along hcp and continue to drink mikes kool aid.

    every things great

See this is what I'm talking about! You are taking a meaningless preseason loss (just like the Kings game was a meaningless preseason win) and basing opinions off of it! This is a long season and you are ALREADY throwing in the towel!

    Hello darkness, my old friend
You were right a lot during the Nash/Patterson era. When the team is managed by incompetent executives, default pessimism is likely to be right more often than not.

You've been wrong almost all the time in the Pritchard era, as far as I've seen. Default pessimism usually doesn't hit the mark when the team is managed well.

Nor is he the whiny little bitch sheed is.

Speaking of whiny bitches, at least 50% of the active board members here enjoy talking about worthless Blazer drama more than they do actually watching and rooting for the team.

You may call us positive people "Homers," but maybe its because we support our team no matter how good or bad they play in a particular game. It's called being a real fan.

A-Woj has such a fucking hard-on for this team, I can't recall a single article by him that's portrayed the team in even the barest hint of a positive light in I don't know how long. Clearly Miller and the team have some issues to work through in terms of finding the right fit (and he is good enough to be the starter on this or 20 other teams) but this shit stirrer at Yahoo is unbievable.

    :sigh:

Public relations have been managed well (via media management and smiling interviews), but good trades have been sorely lacking.

Pritchard has had one day of accomplishment in his whole tenure, the day he got Roy and Aldridge. The trades that day were made possible by using Paul Allen's largesse to grease the wheels (taking 3-year contract Raef LaFrentz for 2-year contract Theo Ratliff). Without his advantage of Allen's money, Pritchard can accomplish nothing. In fact, even while offering those millions, it took Pritchard 3 tries to get a player this summer.

Anyway, I wouldn't call it good management, unless you mean PR management.
