Everyone prasies his defense. Marion is a very underrated player on the defensive end expecially. He always guards people bigger then him (Duncan, Dirk) and always does a very solid job on them. He gets overshadowed by Nash and Amare and nobody really sees how good this guy is.
Kobe got less than four votes wow that ticks me off. Even though I voted for Nash, Kobe should get second place.

This is what mine look likeMVP: DirkSecond Place: KobeDefensive Player of the Year: Shawn MarionSecond Place: Andrei Kirilenko6th Man of the Year: Mike Miller Second Place: Jerry Stackhouse Rookie of the Year: Chris Paul Most Improved Player of the Year: Boris Diaw Second Place: David West Coach of the Year: Avery JohnsonSecond Place: Greg Popovich
I agree with most of the winners we selected as a group except for DPY..I just dont think Marion will end up winning it. Not saying he isnt a great defender, but I think Wallace, Bowen and Kirilenko should be the front runners..

I agree with BBW's picks for 6th man, ROY, MIP and COY.I'd sayKobe = MVPDPOY = Big Ben (Marion? WTF!?!?!?)

Just because he's a front runner doesn't mean he is overrated.I hope that's sarcasm.....
Wallace's stats dont even reflect his defensive power - he can play defense just by standing in the key - he wards players off into driving in the lane easily - now that is power, and that should be rewarded by getting dpoy.
I agree with all of the NBA awards except for Defensive Player of the Year. It should have been Bruce Bowen. But at the same time, you can never go wrong with Big Ben. I also think Kobe should have won MVP, but I'm not even gunna get into that again. I've expressed myself on that on this board plenty of times. I also wouldn't have argued with Dirk, Billups, LeBron, or Brand for MVP either. This years MVP race was so tight it's not even funny. But Nash is not a player that should have ever gotten 2 MVP's, let alone back to back.
