If Aldridge wants the big bucks, he'd better get under that basket too and get his share of rebounds. While he's there, he can take higher percentage shots instead of, as you say, padding Joel's rebounding stats with a ton of misses. Management is right when it tries to hold down Aldridge's demands. If he wants big money, he has a whole season to change his reputation from a softie.
why are you stirring the pot and not looking at reality? The economy is FAR worse than it was 10 years ago. Seriously. The NBA is going to lower the cap, no doubt about it. Would you not expect that would make for difficult contract negotiations?
