A big body. We need depth there. There's no real stand out PG in this year's draft. That's why you go big.

No they should get a PG via free agency they need a quality bench big man someone who can come out and play big his rookie year someone like Channing Frye who was drafted in the 2nd round.

I think Kwame, Bynum, and Cook need to bulk up some muscle this offseason. Some more strength can boost their offensive dominance in the paint, especially for Kwame. And Kwame needs to work on his ball handling. He needs to be a bigger part in this offense and take the pressure of Kobe, a MVP season for Kobe doesnt have to have 35 points, it could be something like 28-30 Points, 7 boards, 2 steals and 6 assists. As long as his team gets 50-55 wins which I think we can accomplish next year. I don't think we can win the division next year with Stoudemire coming back for the Suns next year, but I think we can get the 5th spot. Lamar Odom is looking promising these last few weeks. And btw, I think the Lakers just need a back-up PG, I think Phil has seen Smush improve and wants him to stay because they can use his scoring he just needs to be more efficient and consistent. I liked the rotation I saw Sunday, Kwame, Odom, Walton, Bryant and Parker. If they use Walton he can help Lamar create plays. Kobe isn't a play creator anymore and Smush sucks at being a passer so its always Lamars job.by 2007-2008 Im looking forward to seeing Andrew Bynum start for the Lakers as the center. I think the rotation will be by then:C - Andrew Bynum : about 14 points 12 rebounds 2 blocksPF - Kwame Brown : about 14 points 8 rebounds 1 blockSF - Lamar Odom: 22 points 9 rebounds 5 assistsSG - Kobe Bryant: 33 points 7 rebounds 5 assistsPG : (Smush parker ??) - 12 points 4 assists 3 steals

Yeah, even if we can't get a better starter, just go with a backup because...that's what we need....

The PG they should get via free agency if the mavs fail to sign him(which they will because of D.Harris) is Jason Terry! he would be a good fit there i believe! This would be sweet if it were to happen doubt it would though....Odom and bynum for AI

Jason Terry would be a terrible fit for the Lakers, they need a defensive minded point guard who can initiate the triangle, not a scoring little man. Odom and Bynum for AI? Your just trying to get a rise out of Laker fans, right?

It's called an expression, not to be taken literally. And who'd you confuse Frye with? That's kind of hard to do with his name.

I don't want Allen Iverson to the Lakers because him and Kobe would not work well together. What are you trying to do turn us into the Knicks? What the Lakers need is a point guard who can open the floor up to create open shots making everybody better. If only the lakers would of signed Nash instead of Phenox. We would of had a better chance at getting him then then we would now that he's made a much better name for himself. Are there any players like that in the Draft....True Point guards?
