Some of my earliest memories are being at the MC during Blazers games with my grandparents who had season tickets. I remember, I never went to the bathroom during halftime because there was absolutely no space to walk around and you were constantly bumping into people and the bathroom line would go well into the 3rd quarter.
Yes. That game was insanely awesome. I'm not sure why blazer broadcasting doesn't re broadcast that one again. That game was great. I was down one moment and then pumped up in another. I wasn't there but watched it on blazers cable through one of those massive satellites.
They brought the guy back who used to play back in the day. He played for awhile during the game. Very cool.
Hey HCP, I saw you sitting in section 3, row D seats 1 and 2 with your wife. You had the red blazer hat on, white t-shirt, black jacket, tan shorts and your wife was wearing a dark jacket with blue jeans. I thought about coming over to you and say hi but I was working. Who was that blonde that sat in front of you when you had your left leg stretched out? Seems like you had a lot of friends there at the arena. BTW, your wife looks good. Shes a keeper!
You should have stopped by and said what was up man! The blonde is my brother's wife's sister and I am trying really hard to get her to have a threesome with my wife and I.. Hopefully by Christmas!
Oh cool HCP. Having avatars that depict you as yourself makes things easier when you are spotted in the crowd. I sent you a pm regarding to your comment. I could tell that a lot of people noticed the black tarp gone from the bowl showing the glass windows. That was a nice touch. However, the ceiling panels need to be replaced and better lighting in the MC. For some reason it seemed louder than the RG at times.
The last time I went to a game there, until Wednesdays pre-season game vs. the Suns was against the Lakers, most likely during the final season at the MC. I don't remember much from it other than a few Jerome Kersey dunks. I also remember seeing a few monster truck shows there. Going back last week was actually a really fun experience since I haven't been there for an event in 14 years. I felt so much closer to the action and it seems like there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Plus, I liked seeing the Steel Bridge and the tree lined horizon from the inside before the sun went down. It's too bad they couldn't do that for the RG, it really gives the place a true northwest feel to it.
