He dominated, and he should have had more than 10 shots. Instead, I listen to a PG shoot the ball 15 times while dominating the ball.
Turnovers, bad freethrow shooting, bad defense, turnovers... all come before Roy sucking on the list of "things that caused us to lose" ...oh and turnovers.
Offensively, yes, but I don't see how you can argue he had a solid all around game when Nash, Barbosa, and even Dragic had big games against him.
I would be concerned if Aldridge and Oden were playing bad as well, but they're not. Roy is the only guy who is struggling tonight. He just needs to learn how to play with Miller and Oden. We can't put this all on Miller. Hasn't anyone else noticed that Roy's decline has paralleled with Oden's rise? Nate has been focusing on establishing Oden in the post, and thus Roy has been given less iso's. Roy will adjust. I would rather see Oden continue to dominate. He needs this.
The game was lost when Oden got two shots in the second half. How can he get two shots when he's shooting better than 80%?
Ya, TOs is what really killed us. They are not going to hit at that percentage from the 3, but we need to make sure they don't.
You clearly didn't listen to the entire game. With about 30 seconds left in the first half, Miller had taken 1 shot, and had 5 assists. Roy was still stinking it up at that point. Miller started taking over because he needed to. We wanted another scoring threat on this team that could take some pressure off of Roy, and Miller clearly can do that.
Well, unfortunately I can't watch the game because the Blazers chose not to televise it, so all I have to go off of is the box score.
Thats kinda my point, even with all those other bad things if we cut down on the turnovers and Roy has even a "normal" game we win.
Miller 15 shots, 6 assists. I'd rather have the 9 shots, 5 assists last year from the PG spot. Yes, I am overreacting to Miller, but he has not proven a thing in terms of winning in his career or in his short time as a Blazer.
