This pre-season thread turned into a complete bitch-fest This board is going to be meltdown city after each loss this season...
Sometimes when I come on this forum I feel like I just swallowed a whole bottle of crazy pills ... tonight is one of those nights.
Oh hadn't you heard? This team is going to win 64 games this season and get to the finals ... easy peezy.
This thread is mighty entertaining... no matter which side you're on with regards to Miller-gate, there's some major crazy occurring.
I liked hearing about how Miller had to take over with the Blazers down 1 at the half. Next thing you know, they are down 10. Miller is a proven NBA winner.
I am just curious, wtf happened to Roy? Did not playing a lick of BBall all off-season kill his rhythm? And I think the rest of the starters did a great job...
It's just one person who's taken crazy pills. How can you reason with someone who thinks his point is valid if he makes it more often than people care to respond to it? I like what I see from the starters tonight, except Roy. I've only got the boxscore, of course. I'm not worried about losing tonight. It's just the preseason. Ed O.
Without seeing the game first hand its awfully hard to get a handle on how everybody looked, but off-hand I seem to recall the reserves giving up the big run that pushed the score to minus 8 or 9.
I think this is a good point that has been made. You don't get better by not practicing on your actual basketball skills. From what it sounds like he just worked on his conditioning more then anything.
Rudy out for tomorrow's game with back spasms. Outlaw questionable for tomorrow's game with brain spasms..
Actually, I only see one poster/troll having a mental breakdown. The other posters seem to realize it is a preseason game, and don't think that Miller, with 25/6/5 is ruining the franchise.
Hi Ed. Nice to see you keep up the passive-aggresive game. Meanwhile, I'm still driving up board hits...
He couldn't be bothered to recruit free agents for the team, in spite of being under contract. I wouldn't be surprised if he just took the summer off for the most part. I don't blame him, and I fully expect him to round into shape within a couple weeks of the start of the regular season. Ed O.
On second thought, I was wrong. Miller is just what this team needs to make up for Roy's regression. Roy needs to get his act together. Why didn't he practice this summer???
Honestly, people, stop feeding the troll. Roy comes off more and more selfish to me, though. Scary thoughts in my head...
