We're all down about the way the team is playing in the pre-season, but take a look at this picture of Oden from tonight's game--is that not enough to cheer you up instantly??

This is the guy who will be manning the center position for us this year, and he's hungry for success. Go Blazers, and go Rip City!!!

To me, Oden is the best news to come out of this preseason. It warms the heart of all of us who were patient in view of last season. No one comes back 100% in the first season after microfracture- now in season two, he looks to be a monster.

If my avy didn't rock so much I'd totally sport' that as my avitar.

I agree, Greg is by far the best news and brightest spot to come out of this pre-season.

Much better in fouls. He can now hold his head high as he backs up Przybilla with dignity. Joel is still a lot smarter player.

He has indeed greatly improved. This will be another learning year, and then next season he'll eat the league alive.

I love Joel but GO makes him look expendable in the pre season. Let's see this with live bullets. Joel will be a great insurance policy.

what are you talking about? I read plenty of posters who realize whats what with preseason games. Not everyone is shitting the bed over nothing.

Random question--who's more ripped: Greg now, or John Wooden 75 years ago?

    jlkprk and MARIS :sigh:

BTW guys, you two overlap quite a bit, you both might want to work out which threads you're going to use your shtick on, otherwise you're really blunting your effectiveness, your spacing is all wrong and you're really clogging the paint.

Pryz is going NOWHERE! He is too valuable and important to our success to be sent off to another team.

are you saying that no other player in the league could be at least as valuable and important to Portland's success??? If so I'd beg to differ.

I also think it's likely he'd rather have a starting spot and starter's minutes then to clap for Greg so it's likely he'll bolt after this season.
