Tight End this week.. who do I start? Winslow who has been doing pretty well.. or Gates, a very talented TE but is playing against the Denver D.

I have Witten and Winslow on my team, Witten hasn't been doing well this season. Bad choice.

But Dallas is on BYE, and that means Winslow will be my starter this week. Might be for the best anyway.

Gates. Unlikely Winslow will have back to back big games, and Gates is a stud no matter who he's playing. Always play your studs!

true.. although I worry about Gates vs the Denver D.. he struggled against them last year when their D was WORTHLESS.. youre probably right though.

Ouch. Last week? Jamal Lewis had a huge day, but if I remember correctly, Lewis was limited in practice last week so I kind of see what you were thinking. But Ronnie Brown has reached stud status this season, so he's a must start.

Yeah Gates hasn't been as consistent the last couple of years (I think it has to do with some injuries, but he hasn't missed a game). I'm inclined to play the guy on the more stable offense though, which is Antonio.

Yeah, it's not an easy choice between the two. Remember that last week the Bucs were forced to sling the ball around because they faced an immediate deficit vs the Eagles. Josh Johnson threw the ball 50 times. Winslow benefited from those attempts. The Bucs play Carolina this week, who suck, and I could see Johnson's passing attempts going way down which could affect Winslow's opportunities/results.

You probably can't go wrong with either, but I'd start Gates.

Winslow. The Panthers D is atrocious this year.

According to my sources, Gates is the top ranked TE for week 6.

    I'd go with him.

San Diego is at home. Due for a win. BTW, Denver I think has played over their head and are due for a loss. Not to mention this is a rivalry game. Could be a lot of points scored this week on Denver.

sorry to change the subject but i have a trade that's been brewing for weeks and i need fresh eyes and opinions on it. I'd be giving up L. McCoy, P. Thomas, and D. Bowe and getting back J. Addai, K. Smith and M. Colston. I have NO QB's so the hookup would be nice but not sure i want to give up Pierre and McCoy is one bad Westbrook ankle twisting from being a stud RB.

I liked the deal. Based on my ranking sheets you are giving up an average rank per player of 63 and are getting back an average rank of 39.3. Meaning you are improving your average rank per player in that trade of 23.7.

Reason being. Marcues Coelston. He is a top flight receiver and he will remain a top flight receiver because he is in one of the if not the best offenses in the league. That and he has one of the better quarterbacks throwing to him. Also, the Saint's should stay consistant all season long.
