Wish it was Brandon, LA, Greg, Martell and Andre. I do understand Nate wanting to balance out the rotation though.
That's the opening night starting lineup? Or just the lineup starting this Sunday? What the fuck else does Greg have to do to win a starting job? Gimme a break. I don't care about getting touches off the bench. Our offense sucked shit to start games last season. One guy couldn't dribble past the FT line, and the other was just, in general, a liability on offense, and we played 4 on 5. Sometimes 3 on 5. So we're being told/shown that our top 3 players on the team just can't fit together as a starting unit and it makes more sense to bring one off the bench or..? sorry. I'm probably over reacting, just annoyed at the thought of this.
so basically we will suck early this season and by game 3.... changes will be made like last year after outlaw got benched. and didnt oden start last year till he got hurt?
Opening night, but they will start doing this Sunday. So that will give them 2 games to get the "normal rotation" tightened up.
What made Nate do this was the 3rd quarter last night. Blake, Rudy, Nic, Travis and Pryz got KILLED!!!!!!!!!!
+1 I think this is a fucking joke. He doesn't think the starting unit can defend, so he starts Blake... Unreal. It takes more than 4 preseason games to learn how to play with each other. If he doesn't start Oden opening night I'm going to be pissed, and I've always defended Nate. But that is a no-brainer.
I could understand Blake and Nicolas back in the starting lineup, but if this team is going to achieve that championship level of success, it needs Brandon, LA and Greg to learn how to play with one another and be on the floor for the majority of the game.
