Nate isn't creative enough to use his best players so he goes with what he did last year. Give me a break.
Greg Oden was considered a once in a generation center and was the #1 pick in the NBA Draft. McMillan has him on the bench to start the game. Is this not the biggest joke ever? I get Andre Miller I guess. I can live with that. But Oden? Seriously?

Well, Quick does have inside sources. Maybe Blazers coach, Mark Iavaroni told him At the end of the day - I honestly say that the entire starting unit is not a big deal to me. What I want to see is Oden and Miller getting more minutes than Joel and Blake - and doing it in such a way that all our main guys (Roy, LMA, Miller, Oden this year) maximize their output.
Has anyone realized that last year, we won nearly 20 games when trailing by 10 or more (rounded up) with the lineup we have now. I don't agree with McMillans decision, but I guess time will tell. Oden needs to start! Having Oden come off the bench is saying that we made a mistake picking him over Durant. I signed up for this board just to express my disappointment with Nate's Decision. But remember guys, Batum was suppose to start the first game of the season and we all know how that turned out. Like one of the poster's said, I wont believe till I see it.
