That picture is super duper sweet. No matter what else is going on with the Blazers I can think of Oden and it puts a smile on my face.
Absolutely. With Oden ripped and ready to go, I feel incredibly good about this team. I don't care if Roy is struggling, or if Miller is unhappy, or if anything else is a little "off" right now. Oden is the future of this team, and we all know it. The other guys just need to get their act together and get on the bandwagon!
Last night was a loss, but to me it was a win with the continued success he is having in preseason. I even watched some highlights of last nights game and he is looking more controlled when going to the hoop.
Yes! The final score of these pre-season games is far less important than Oden's development. I love the way he is consistently delivering strong performances, no matter who the opposition is. Two years later, we're finally seeing the Oden we've been dreaming about, and he's only going to get better!
I'll have to look into this new upstart competitor. The only Julius I know had Nate McMillan's unsmiling personage, both on and off the court. Well there was the one stabbed on the Ides of March. And the one electrocuted during the McCarthy Era. Meanwhile, here's a better picture of Webster (whom I forecast will be a dunks-only Desmond Mason, at the losing end of the love triangle with Batum and Outlaw). http://media.oregonlive.com/oregonian/photo/-37e2c87c10986aa2.jpg
