I don't know if I understand this post correctly. From the quote of your article link provided, it seems they are getting along and enjoy the other player. Why would that brew trouble?
I like this part the best: The differences Steve sees in them: Andre has an understanding for the game, Steve...doesn't. Andre is always thinking, Steve...isn't. Andre is a very good passer, looking for open teammates. Steve looks for covered teammates, and in general is not a good passer. I know that isn't what he means, just funny to look at the quote by itself. Basically, Steve is a clueless, disinterested PG who has no idea how to finish by the basket, wouldn't know an open teammate if they were to stand by his side, adn in general, is just a poor passer. rr7
That's how journalists turn words.. tomorrow the headlines will read "Blake says Miller will make up for everything he lacks" dpc
Ohh i wasn't bashing you lol, i think its hilarious Steve worded it like that. My point was its stupid that some reporters out there would take that quote and totally flip it around to make him look stupid or something.
Well, to be a nitpicker, Blake's quote is missing a qualifier. "Such as" or "like" after the "differences" sentence would give the paragraph the meaning that you are reading. As for me, I read it as Blake making a sentence about undefined differences, and then listing some of Miller's strengths in the next sentence.
WHOA?! the pot has brownies IN IT?! What if we took this brownie pot, and like made cookies, man?! Then it would be like some sort of drug turkduckin
Maybe this will help? JOKE Pronunciation: \ˈjōk\ Function: noun Etymology: Latin jocus; perhaps akin to Old High German gehan to say, Sanskrit yācati he asks Date: 1670 1 a : something said or done to provoke laughter; especially : a brief oral narrative with a climactic humorous twist b (1) : the humorous or ridiculous element in something (2) : an instance of jesting : kidding <can't take a joke> c : practical joke d : laughingstock 2 : something not to be taken seriously : a trifling matter <consider his skiing a joke — Harold Callender> —often used in negative constructions <it is no joke to be lost in the desert> Now I know why you're in general a pain in the ass on here. rr7
