Hey, Ed.....could you do me a favor? Could you PM me with your suggestions/recommendations as to, if you had one weekend to spend in Seattle, what would be on your gotta-do list? I'm thinking about surprising my wife with a getaway trip up there before the Holidays hit.

    Thanks!

Folks it is no coincidence that Stephen Jackson wants out, and it is not on him it is on Don Nelson. The last couple of years Don Nelson decided he wanted a power struggle with Chris Mullin so he could take over the franchise. He got what he wanted, but at the same time, they have made nothing but bad moves since he did. That is why Jackson wants out. Not because he is a bad egg. Because the franchise is sliding in the wrong direction, and Don Nelson has turned into a total ass hole to his players. Baron left. Monta wants out. Matt Barnes left. Why do you think they want out? They had a really good team going for a while there. They want out because their coach/GM is a fuckhead.

I would love to have Stephen Jackson on the team. He has been successful in both slow and fast offenses, he is a smart player, he is confident, and he knows how to play defense. If we were extremely lucky, one of our SF would some day become as good as Jackson.

    Haha.

He has a career PER of 14.7, and he's only been higher-than-average 15.0 three times in his nine seasons.

I think I'd prefer to have an above-average player at small forward over the course of his career, and if we think Jackson is the ceiling for our SF prospects then we should get new prospects.

If you want SJAX, your probably looking at:

    Blake / Outlaw or

    Blake / Webster

Either trade should probably work for both teams, assuming SJAX can mesh with the rest of the Blazers.
