Pretty interesting read. They haven't shown much footage of him on the show so far.

Well comparatively Demico did handle the loss well lol. Anyway, I think Demico lost to the guy who will win it all, and he managed to get him a bad position and threw some elbows. (Schaub)

I'd bet if Demico got a different opponent on his back, and rained elbows things would have turned out a lot better. But Schaub was calm and waited for the opportunity to transition, to get the choke.

Maybe I'm missing something about Schaub, but I wasn't that impressed with him.

From what I saw, Demico looked like a pretty solid wrestler, and probably would have given plenty of other guys a lot of problems.

Schaub managed to reverse the position and sub Demico, that is definitely a very solid performance, so I don't see how that isn't impressive.

I'd probably pick Demico over Wes Sims or Justin Wren.

Looking at the guys that won:
    Justin Wren
The stocky wrestler from the first fight
    The Brit
    Roy Nelson
    Schaub

    Junk vs someone
Zack Jensen (who apparently is a can) vs Junk's good friend
Marcus vs. Matt Mitrione the bitch with a hurt shoulder

Apparently Junk is well praised, so I'd think that Schaub, Junk and Roy Nelson are the 3 favourites to win at this point.

I don't see how Schaub get by Nelson and I'm very excited to see what Marcus can do. If he lands, it is bed time.

I think Schaub has an edge in striking, he also has conditioning. Roy has the better ground game, and more "mass".

Marcus is a question mark to me, he definitely appears to have ridiculous power, however his conditioning during camp appeared to be the weakest of the bunch (he is a big guy). Guys have said he has a solid ground game as well, so he definitely looks like a threat, either way I've been looking forward to his fight for a while.

One of the big edges about Schaub is that he trains with Greg Jackson and Shane Carwin, and that definitely gives a strong edge. The guy is well trained, and well conditioned.

I think his fight was more impressive by Roy's if you want to say something, and Demico was a bigger test than Kimbo.

Junk seems like a good guy, but I don't get his hype. He did lose to Christian Wellisch, who was a pretty low level HW in the UFC.
