Just for that, the next time you have courtside seats you have to trade them to me for my 300 level tickets. You really don't deserve them. I thought only Lakers fans left early. Sorry, that last sentence crossed a line. I took it too far. BNM
Wow.. I don't think I could do that even if I was watching Telfair and Ha playing for us in a preseason game.
A bit after the 4th started my pain pills were wearing off and I didn't feel like taking a few more percs so I told my wife lets go it's just a preseason game. She got the legs on my wheelchair and we were about to go when Oden came in. I said wait I want to see how Oden does. Well Oden took my pain away! Ended up watching the rest of the game. I took some video of the third quarter, but got busted or I would have had video of Oden dominating in crunch time!
How he came in when it counted and just took over was great to see! It was especially nice after having foul problems and not doing that well earlier. I was listening to the radio on the way home and I think Antonio said last year he would have got down on himself because of his earlier play and wouldn't have played like that in the 4th and I have to agree.
Wow - the footage really does the reports justice! Hey Greg: If you read this - your'e the man and keep up the Beastly play!!
You certainly speak the truth sir. I've been following closely this year blazersedge, and this forum for my blazers action as I'm in Australia until late jan... and getting all the info I need from you guys and the edge. But honestly, I'm so incredibly pumped by the real potential he is showing and not only potential, but now giving us glimpses of what we always hoped we had when that golden ticket was dropped in our laps a few summers ago that had myself and others screaming their tails off about. Loving what I'm seeing.... now if only we can figure out our rotation issues with a little consolidation trade eh?
I've never had a courtside seat before. A Blazer employee gave it to me. I left early because 5. I was by myself 4. The game was a bore, and it was a pre-season bore 3. Greg, whom I really wanted to see, was on the bench the whole game 2. I had parked illegally and was worried about getting towed And the No. 1 reason I left early - which I rarely do - 1. I am not a smart man.
So that review you did didn't include the 4th quarter? I was wondering why it was completely negative.
Give credit where credit is due. No way Greg does that without Miller bouncing those 13 misses off the rim for Greg to rebound and dunk.
I was thinking about that--isn't a miss leading to an O-Reb and a dunk just as good as an assist? Shouldn't Miller have had about 9 assists then instead of 4?
I seem to remember some PG being defended that way a few years ago, Maybe Jarrett Jack contributing to Joels Rebounding?
I only caught the end of the game on the radio... Did Oden's domination coincide with Nene fouling out? It kinda seemed that way to me from what I heard. It's definitely a great step in the right direction, but in the interest of cautious optimism, I'd really like to see him starting showing progress against decent centers...
Oden's tear started at about the 8 minute mark, and Nene didn't foul out until the 6 min mark. Oden drew at least one of the 2 fouls Nene picked up in that 2 minute stretch as well. Getting other good big men in foul trouble and out of the game so he can beat on back up 5's is what I expect Greg to being doing for his entire career, so it's good he can get some experience at it hehe.
