Miller is going to take some time to get used to. When the offense bogs down, he is going to be aggressive and try to make things happen. Sometimes it will work, and sometimes it won't. Personally, I have no problem with that. I would prefer an aggressive team that sometimes makes mistakes, to a team so risk adverse that they become passive.
Assuming that Roy and Aldridge get their form back, someone who bulldozes through and grabs some foul shots when the team is slowing down is exactly what we needed last year to win a couple more games, well that and we needed less silly calls by Violet and Leon. Bayless was trying to be that person, but he doesn't have the finesse yet to draw the key fouls that Andre has developed. This just can't come at the cost of our stars losing their fire or we get a net loss.
Yeah, people are all worried about touches but if anyone remembers correctly, this team had trouble finding offense against the Rockets in the playoffs. All of the sudden all these options besides Roy and Aldridge were shit. Couldn't trust anyone besides those 2.
Ya, watching after Oden foul out Denver double/tripled Roy, something they didn't dare do when Oden was in. He's going to make a big difference if he keeps playing like that in crunch time and can stay on the floor.
