Let's recap Mixum's career. 2008: Epic Troll 2009: Troll All-star 2010: Troll hall of fame induction? MIXUM IS A TROLL PRONE POSTER CHICKEN LITTLE! Well I feel better now.
LOL. +rep Whoopty fuckin doo. A thigh bruise. Roy is injury prone too. So is Aldridge and Rudy. Hell Blake has been hurt a lot too. Fuck, what about Pryz? Webster....it seems like the only non injury prone players we have are Andre Miller and Travis Outlaw. We should get rid of everybody besides those two. It's obvious the season is lost. Why the fuck should we even play the games anymore?
This post is trollish. MIXUM'S initial post, while filled with emotion, was not trollish and included questions about the severity of Oden's latest injury. Carry on...
Haha, it's probably nothing, but people were saying the EXACT same thing last year when Oden banged knees with Maggette. I just...don't like our medical staff's track record.
Here's the wikipedia definition of internet trolling: "In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory or abusive messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion." Sounds exactly like what he was doing. Carry on... rr7
I'll give you this: you have lately become more in-tune with what it takes to be a troll, so you might be on to something here.
Sounds exactly what Idol was doing. If you felt provoked by MIXUM'S intial post, that's a 'you' problem. Idol's post, on the otherhand, was clearly controversial, inflammatory/abusive, and the intent seemed to be to get MIXUM to respond emotionally to the post. It also had nothing to do with the tread at hand. It was the very definition (that you provided) of how a troll posts. Thanks for proving my point. Carry on...
I don't see how picking on certain posters for their opinions isn't trollish. As I've posted previously, I don't see how me being concerned with the disconnect between what I thought Miller was going to be versus what he has shown makes me a "troll", but whatever. It doesn't really bother me. Aren't we all trolls, though?
People who always complain about all the complaining are just as annoying as the original complainer and the person the complainer is complaining about.
MIXUM is and can be negative at times and is and can be highly emotional with his posts, but I don't think I've ever assumed he was actually just saying shit to get a reaction (OK, maybe the first few weeks or month or so of him posting made me wonder).
