Man.... I never thought I'd be rooting for the refs to come back.

But, what if they return and start calling the same BS calls on Greg?

He seems to be more active which would result in less calls IMO. But also.. BS calls on Greg.. or BS calls on the whole team? toss up.

So was this just a ploy by the NBA and the refs to decrease criticism of them? I'm thinking it will work.

Wait, is this a deal with the NBA, or the bookies in Vegas?

I don't think it's a coincidence that this comes two days after my rather pointed letter to the NBA expressing my displeasure at the replacements.

I choose to take full credit. Feel free to rep me in order to show your appreciation for my efforts.

Thank God somebody stepped up. Can you defuse the rest of the Illuminati plot, or will you require help?:NOTMARIS::NOTMARIS::NOTMARIS::NOTMARIS:

Please let this be true. I don't like paying top dollar for tickets to watch 3-hour free throw shooring contests decided by bench players with the highly paid starters on the bench with constant foul trouble. The real NBA refs are far from perfect, but at least they don't destroy the pace of the game needlessly like these scab replacement refs. 90 FTs in a regulation game is flat out unwatchable.

Personally, since the refs have already agreed to take the pay cut requested by David Stern, he should step up and take a similar cut in his $10 million a year salary. Yeah, like that will happen.

Thank god you went with the Segal avatar when you sent the letter. If it was a Chuck Norris avatar the NBA would have bent down, taken it's pants down and provided so much money and power to the refs that Javie would have veto power of Stu Jackson.

I'm convinced that Canzano's article is the reason for this development.

Methinks that is a big part of it. (the rest being Stern's inability to pass up a chance to bully somebody just to prove he can do it)

Frank Layden once said that Stern was so well paid, he lived in a neighborhood where the bird-feeders had salad bars.

I'm thinking about a 99% pay cut would be fair.
