His shoulder has been bothering him since International play for France. Probably just aggravated it, no official report yet but I didn't hear anything like "Batum limps off the court" just that he went to the locker room. So I'm speculating a bit here. Didn't hear anything about limping so I'm guessing it's not a leg injury and I know the shoulder has been bothering him. On the other hand he is back now so who knows. Wheels just said something about it but I missed it.

Nate's preferred starting line up is a joke.

DO NOT MAKE THE EXCUSE THAT ALDRIDGE ISN'T PLAYING EITHER.

    Absolute joke.

Batum got a right thigh contusion, so it's not his shoulder. He should be back later in the game.

    ???

The only one who "should" be starting is Miller I guess. It's not much of a ridiculous joke.

Batum has a right thigh contusion?

    What's with all these contusions?

Right thigh contusion for Batum. MIXUM you're on in 5...4...3...2...1 and the franchise is doomed.

Agreed, and it shouldn't matter who isn't playing (Greg is out, right?) because that's who Nate wants to play.

You basically have 3 positions that are offensive naughts, and with LMA out, you basically are a 1 offensive player starting.

Even if the team is healthy, you are limiting your offensive threats to 2 players in the starting lineup. Chemistry is good, but how many times did this team get off to slow-starts last year?

I'm glad these injuries for a lot of our players are not serious.

So we're missing Oden, Aldridge, Batum, Fernandez, and who else? Oh yeah, Roy since he got his new contract. Juan Dixon just got cut, can we get him?

Batum's thigh, Aldridge's shin, Oden's "abductor" (he's been kidnapped?), Rudy's back, Bayless' ankle...the Frail Blazers are cursed! CURSED I SAY!!

Why does it sound like the Jazz are just dribbling down the court and scoring with no resistance?

Outlaw has scored 10, half our points. Suddenly, we are not a deep team with all these injuries.

I think its because our transition defense is bad, and teams know it. It's a weakness that the team didn't seem to address this off-season (or training camp) or just doesn't seem to think they need to do it.

For having a defensive minded coach, there are times when this team looks like they have no idea how to play defense. Their defense is the key between the team potentially winning 55-58 games and making it to the 2nd or 3rd round, and 45-52 games and being out in 5 games.
