Dozens? Plural? Really? I'm sure the thousands that have signed up due to people wanting to watch the Blazers on CSN and them being bastards in negotations with the Dish's far outways the dozen you got to cancel.
FiOS internet is so superior to Comcast it isn't even funny. I don't care what marketing crap Comcast puts out there... I had both... Comcast sucked.
Depends on where you live though with Comcast. My friend lives where not a lot of people have Comcast and he did a speed test and got upwards of 27 MBPS. But me, in a populated apartment complex, I will only get about 5-10 MBPS. FiOS is it's own dedicated line, unlike cable internet. In any event, I agree, FiOS is better than Comcast. That being said... I just got my Comcast installed! (FiOS not available in my area )
Another area FiOS beats comcast is latency which is noticeable in web browsing game etc... but not an issue with just one large download.
