Strikeforce airs Emelianenko vs. Rogers on November 7th (CBS).

In response, the UFC will air the following fights on SpikeTV:

    - Randy Couture vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira from UFC 102
    - Vitor Belfort vs. Rich Franklin from UFC 103
    - BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian from UFC 101
    - Forrest Griffin vs. Anderson Silva from UFC 101

The fights haven't been shown on TV before.

Couture vs. Nog is an excellent fight. Belfort vs. Franklin and Silva vs. Griffin were squashes. Penn vs. Florian was kind of uneventful until the end.

I dunno who would rather watch these old fights than the decent show that Strikeforce is putting on, but whatever.

a card that's free, featuring Fedor and other good fights, and it's on CBS? no way UFC counters that unless they put on a fresh show, even then it's not a gurantee, comes down to Spike vs CBS.

Yeah, it seems to me like most MMA fans would already have seen those fights. Really, Couture/Nog is the only one worth watching again.

That's an enticing group of fights put up by UFC but I'm still watching Strikeforce. Maybe I'll try and record the Spike broadcast. I haven't seen Couture/Nog or Belfort/Franklin yet and I'd love to see Silva-Forrest again (was just looking for it online the other day to no avail). Penn/Florian was a really good fight too.

I would watch Penn-Florian again, and Couture-Big Nog, and Forrest-Silva maybe lol, kind of funny how bad Anderson made Forrest look, but not over new fights.

I'm not too hyped for Fedor-Rogers, I really think that most HWs would tool Rogers on the ground, and Fedor's ground game isn't lacking.

It's too bad it's not Overeem, and its frustrating that he's fighting multiple times outside of Strikeforce at the same time. I can understand not defending the belt for a year or so, because Strikeforce didn't really have anyone for him to defend it against.

However, once Strikeforce finally could get a respectable opponent (a very respectable one at that) for him to defend his belt against, he's out fighting Tony Sylvester and James Thompson lol.

Whether Overeem actually has extra juice overseas or not, I think he's a better fighter than Rogers.
