Someone traded you someone good for the Eagles D? In a 12 team league, Schaub went undrafted? And you want me to believe these people live and die fantasy football? Sorry, I can't buy that.
Brees: Tony Romo and Brian Westbrook Brady: Schaub and Eagles D Mind u that This was after Brady looked slugish in his first start back Someone did draft schaub but he had a really bad week 1 and was released
Sluggish is 378 yards and 2 TDs? Fuck. I hope Oden comes out looking sluggish this season. And this person who traded Brady immediately after his sluggish week 1 decided it was a good idea to trade him for someone who was just grabbed as a free agent, and who looked a lot more sluggish in week 1? All to get the Eagles D, who was also a free agent pickup? That guys an idiot. Schaub hs looked good, but, yeah. he's an idiot to trade for two free agent pickups. The guy who traded Brees is a moron too. Lemme guess, he did that after week 1, because he thought he was selling high on those 6 TDs?
hahahhahahahhahah no no, listen, Schaub is the best fantasy player this year, you can look at the numbers Brees was traded after two straight games with no TD and a shift to the running game SCHAUB has only 4 fantasy points week 1, check it again.... 177 yds with a pick
Even after those amazing trades, I still see 2 RB's that would have gone in the 1st round of almost any draft, and 2 WR's that would have gone in the 2nd round. Who did the other people in your league take? You are basically telling me that you drafted Wayne or Megatron in the 4th round!?
I was the last pick of the 1st round so i had back to back picks, so let me tell you the picks in sets of two Chris Johnson, Steven Jackson Reggie Wayne, Calvin Johnson Ronnie Brown Carson Palmer (both traded) Greg Olsen, Eagles D etc..... so yea, made some good pickups/trades
Yeah, I understand. So Schaub looked like crap in week 1. So the veteran live qand die fantasy player figured well, that obviously means he's shit. I'll drop him. Another member of the league says you know, that Tom Brady couldn't quite eclipse the 400 yard mark in week 1 after an entire year off. He looks sluggish out there. I better get what i can for him. Hey look, OSUBlazerFan just picked up these two guys off of the waiver wire. Though that sluggish week 1 scared me off of Brady, Schaub's more miserable day doesn't have me worried at all. That Eagles D, which wasn't drafted for some reason, should make up the 200 yard difference between those two players. And the Brees owner panicked, understandably so, because he went a whole two games without throwing a TD. I mean, two games?!?! So what does he do? He trades him for Romo, who also hadn't thrown a TD in two games, and Westbrook, who was coming off of an injury, and had also seen a shift in the running game, with them deciding to go to more of a split carry system with LeSean McCoy. That's genius. yeah, I stand by my previous assumption, sorry.
Well you did make some good trades. Im just shockerd that you got Wayne with the 36th pick and Calvin Johnson with the 37th. I mean seriously, how are there 35 better options than reggie wayne? He went something like 16th overall in my draft.
Yea i ridiculed people about this one, cause like a bunch of WR's went before him, like terrel owens, ouch
so you got johnson, jackson, wayne, and calvin with the 12th, 13th, 36th, and 37th picks? that's crazy. johnson and jackson were only a few spots behind where they'd normally get picked and i assume that could be explained by at least 3 if not more qbs going in the first round in your league where you are able to start two qbs. but the 4th and 5th ranked receivers by average draft position lasting until the last pick of the 3rd round makes no sense.
I know i know, i do what i can The sad part is im only 4 and 2 and there are two teams in my league who look even better than mine, other than the QB spot that is.... Forte has been really upsetting this year, hopefully he picks it up
