    Exactly what I was going to say.

    Hopefully the Huskies can turn it around with a really rad head coach, but Locker won't be there for much longer. They have been a joke recently.

    This will still be a tough game though. UDub's home field is always a tough place to play.

    Sorry, but on this one you've been defeated. Take it graciously.

    Wanna put money on that? That UW won't ever have another winning season? I'll bet you any amount of money on that.

    here's to hoping the earth opens up and swallows that dump of a stadium and takes both teams and their fanbases as well.

    Oh I can easily forsee a winning season. They drop out of the PAC-10, start playing teams like Linfield, St Mary's Womens School for the Blind... See, it's easy to be a winning program again! :biglaugh:

    I like how I don't give a shit! My point is Duck fans have PLENTY to talk about and brag about over the course of our "rivalry" for the last decade or so. Why go back 15 years when you can just go back 1 year? Wheaton's INT doesn't carry any significance anymore. It's a reach, and it's played out. You guys can jerk your junk to that play all you want, have fun, it doesn't affect me in the slightest! It makes you look unoriginal and desperate.

    Irony or not, I don't give a fuck. You want irony? How about the fact that Duck fans have complained for decades that Husky fans are "arrogant." I have a bit of news for you, we got NOTHING on Duck fans in the arrogance department. You'd think you're all the adopted sons of Phil Knight or something. It's a joke. The Duck program is a joke. And it's a matter of very little time before Washington takes over the NW Crown once again. Oregon wore the crown disgracefully. Time to give it back to it's rightful owner.

    Rose Bowl Appearances:
    Washington = 14 (3rd among Pac 10 and Big 10 schools)
    Oregon = 4 (tied for 11th among PAC 10 and Big 10 schools)

    Rose Bowl Victories:
    Washington = 7 (3rd among Pac 10 and Big 10 schools)
    Oregon = 1 (tied for 12th among PAC10 and Big 10 schools, and tied for 2nd to last in total rose bowl victories)

    Yeah, ok. I take it back. You guys live in the past all you want. I apologize for criticizing your angle.

    Admit it, you can't take it. That's the best part for us Duck fans.

    But in all seriousness, UW is back, IMHO. Wins against USC & Idaho (7-1 and a lot better team than people may know) and a host of close losses make it clear the program is headed in the right direction. The new head coach is doing an A+ job so far.

    That said, I think the Ducks should be favored this week, but I think it's going to be a very close game. Locker (or however it's spelled) takes a lot of extra attention and will be difficult to defend. And if Masoli isn't 100% we're in for a very tough game.

    Ducks absolutely should be and are the favorite. At this time they have better players, that is a simple fact. I'm not blinded by my own fandom! It's just annoying as shit to be a Dawg fan living in Oregon. Particularly the week prior and week after the Oregon vs Washington game. Drives me crazy! I will admit! :)

    Why is there so much Anger? I remember feeling the same way about opposing teams when I was like 17.. but so much hatred is laughable.

    Phil Knight did just cash in $300 million of his Nike stock. Maybe a dome over Autzen stadium and the Oakland Raiders are in Eugene's future.
