Somewhere in the neighborhood of 21 1/2.

Dang, that seems like a no-brainer to me!

No brainer if it was in Corvallis. Not so sure about it when the game is down south.

    GO BEAVERS!

OSU matches up interestingly with USC. USC seems like they will have a problem with Quizz as he gets lost behind his linemen.

But being that it is in SC, I think USC by around 17. I won't rule anything out though, OS, again, is better now than at the beginning of the year. As an Oregon fan, i'd like to see OS beat USC because then we could lose to USC and win out and still make the Rose Bowl. :)

But if USC wins, they move up in the BCS rankings and which would help you more if you beat them. Right?

Correct. But I do think Oregon will lose at least once in Pac-10, and most likely to USC, so if they lose here they are 2 games back which gives us breathing room.

The SOS thing matters, but I don't see us making it to the title game, tbh. (surprise, lol)

Who cares what the score ends out to be . . . let's just hope the Beavs beat up on the Trojans and ding them up enough so the Ducks can roll Sc next week. :D

    1. Really proud of the Beavers for keeping this thing close despite losing Quizz for an entire quarter.

    2. Ticky tack holding calls against Oregon State are the rage but James can nearly get decapitated on a late hit by Mays and nothing.

    Well I'll say this...

    1) OSU put up a heck of a fight but shot themselves in the foot in the first half.

    2) USC is definitely beatable. If I were a UofO fan I'd be licking my chops over next week. I really wasn't all that impressed w/ Barkley (the USC QB). He has a nice throwing motion but he's susceptible to the pick often.

If I were a UO fan I'd be scared that USC got a scare this week. Sleepy giant turned into angry and rattled giant is not a friendly giant.

one thing I learned last year... they are a LOT more pissed off after a loss.. than an emotional win.

Possibly, but two emotional wins in a row and an almost 4th quarter collapse after we missed Quizz for the entire second quarter may wake them up.

I don't know what to think of Barkley - he's passes really well and has a good feel for the game but I think I may hate him due to Mike Patrick and Craig James.

Possible.. but we'll see. And Barkley right now is a lot better than most true freshman QB's but he still is that, a True Freshman, he has a nice feel for the game but is inconsistent like a Freshman can be. He will have a lot of hardware before he moves in though. But yes he can be hateable because of Patrick and James lol. Anywhoo good fight tonight Beavers, definitely a scrappy team with a TON of heart. Something to build on for rest of year.
