    NW Division Winner

    2nd Round of the Playoffs.

That's it. Anything more would be gravy.

Anyone else with me on that?

    I agree.

    Win NW division
    Home-Court in the first round
    Make the 2nd round

    Some sub categories would be...

Win more games than last year
Get LMA in the all-star game
Oden show vast improvements (this can happen not just by improving his game, but staying healthy and out of foul trouble)
    No chemistry problems

    :)

    goals are simple...

la to all star game with roy

oden takes a big step forward with game , health, and fouls

batum or webster establish themselves as a clear cut starter at sf. only one can win obviously

miller and roy learn to play together and miller starts. steves gone this summer

    we win the NW

we make the 2nd round and go 7 games at least vs whoever

    we win 56-58 games

Yes, this would be step forward.

In addition I wouldn't mind the following:
Portland not coming in 30th in game pace.
The Portland pick and roll defense showing obvious improvement.
The team sends two guys to the all star team (I don't care which two).

And finally: Portland faces off against the Lakers in the 2nd round of the playoffs and takes it to 7 games.

That's reasonable and probably enough for Kevin to continue his "We've got the greatest coach" mantra.

Sounds good to me, passing the Thuggets would be great.

Unless San Antonio is so good this year that they take the #1 seed, that should not happen. IMO, no way we're lower than 3rd in the West this year?

    Those are fine goals.

I think it may be hard to do better than the wins we had last year and the 4th seed though.

I can roll with that. I am not too concerned about how many games we win, more how far we get in the playoffs.

I would be very pleased with doing better than we did last season, which IMO means, getting further in the playoffs.

If we get passed the first round with a 41-41 record, I would be happy. Of course I want more, but I will be pleased with that.

Want - WCF to Game 7. Win or lose.
Need - Passed 1st round of playoffs. Don't care what record.
