The bigger question is Curry really a 1. If Monta wasn't here, then would he be better suited at the 2 spot? I think he's more suited for the 2, but I could be wrong and it would be great to know we have a PG for the future.
Curry can be a good PG if he works on his TO; most of that is mental. That means experience should help. From what he's displayed, he's got great court vision and actually directs the spacing correctly. As far Curry as an SG, h's actually handled the ball more than not during his career, meaning that I really don't know how he is. Ellis, on the other hand, was never a good PG, he has no concept of team basketball and thus is not a good floor leader. He can create a viable opportunity for himself and is good at it, and his pick-and-roll is fine, but good luck running a set play, because all he can do is dribble, drive and take his own shot.
