Pretty interesting stuff. His comment about running I found particularly intriguing. Part 1 of 2 Part 2 of 2
"On whether he would trade a second- or third-round playoff appearance for a starting role": Wow.. what a particularly stupid question. I wonder who the hell asked that one. That's a question that's trying to start some feud. I think Andre's handled the situation well so far. The media is seemingly trying to get something out of him to start some controversy but it doesn't seem to be the case.
I meant in term of stirring the pot. Like when he announced two weeks ago the starters, which turned out to be wrong.
Very classy, spoken like a true vet. Miller is smart enough to see the situation and knows that if he plays well in the system, he will get his minutes and probably end up starting.
I liked his specific mention of Bayless, on the teammates he's bonding with. Citing his work ethic. I think Miller could have a really positive effect on Bayless this season.
That would be worth signing Miller right there. If he could mentor Bayless and help forge that raw talent into a Billups like game then oh...my...god.
Panic mode over? Or are we still concerned? Someone please advise. Personally, I think this will be a fun team to watch play.
