Assist leaders in the pre-season for 2009/10: http://www.nba.com/statistics/player/Assists.jsp I like the last three on the list: 48. Andre miller averaging 3.8apg in 25.9mpg 49. Hedo Turkoglu averaging 3.8apg in 21.3mpg 50. Sergio Rodriguez averaging 3.7apg in 14.7mpg funny that those are the last three. Paging Maris61...To the PTB forum for "Sergio is better then Miller" commentary...Paging Maris61 to the PTB forum thank you.
Nobody ever said that Sergio couldn't pass the ball. He can't shoot. He can't defend. Basically all he CAN do is pass.
And turn the ball over. Don't sell him short, he's a legitimate double-double threat if any team actually gave him 30+ minutes.
I just found the listing of those three right next to eachother amusing. A former controversial Blazer, a current semi-contreversial Blazer and an almost Blazer.
In the whole NBA for the preseason, Sergio is 11th in assists per minute http://www.nba.com/statistics/playe...alified=N&yearsExp=-1&sortOrder=5&splitDD=All Teams Andre Miller is 80. Brandon Roy is 53.
There, fixed it for you. If you read the stats (plural) correctly, you'll see Sergio still can't shoot (0.300 FG%) and is a human turnover machine (7.1 TO/48). He is, and has always been, a one trick pony who does one thing well and absolutely SUCKS at everything else. Which makes him a pretty shitty player over all. Which explains his current roll as the third string PG on the worst team in the league. BNM
