    That's interesting, because Bynum's contract extension doesn't kick in until this season.

    You can't overpay someone when the season hasn't started yet.

    His health is an issue too. And, thanks to loose ligaments, Bynum's knees have been called "ticking time bombs".

    To make that worse, he's very knock-kneed as well. He could land funny and *BAM* you have a $14m/per player dressed in a suit on the bench.

    Oden has had one knee surgery.

    Bynum is on knee surgery #3 with loose ligaments.
