Anyone interested? November is a busy month for MMA so I thought it would be good timing. Who would be up for it? The events in question would be Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers, UFC 105, UFC 106, and WEC 44--so a four event tournament. I'd probably simplify the format as such: 1 point for... - picking the winner - picking the method of victory - picking the round the fight ends in We'd tally up after WEC 44 (unless you guys want to do Sengoku). I'd want at least five people here to be up for it but the more the better. Post in this thread to sign up or to say no thanks.
Ok, it's on. Hopefully we can still get a few more of the regulars to join. As an award maybe I can shop up some badges/banners/trophies to go in signatures.
I basically do something similar with some friends, mainly for UFC events, but last time I did it on S2, it was too rigid and shit. I have no problem with that, people can run it how they want, but not interested. It's also more fun when it isn't filled with people who don't know the fighters outside of the main event and sometimes the co-main event.
^ Well as I said it's going to be pretty straightforward, pick the winner, method, and round for a point each, that's all. I thought Celtic Fan's old system was good though. More like a league than a game.
For me personally, I wouldn't want it. I am not too familiar with a lot of sengoku fighters and I would just be guessing for most of the fights.
