56 wins 2nd round of playoff and take it to 6 or 7. Roy as lone all-star, Oden with a much improved game.
I often get accused of lowballing these predictions or somehow being negative, but after the slow start we saw in the preseason and some of the inevitable growing pains I see with a more prominently featured Oden and a new addition in Andre, I think there's going to be no appreciable difference in regular season record ... in fact I'm predicting 52 wins for the regular season, a second place finish in the division, but by April I think they'll be absolutely smothering opponents and completely outplaying their overall record and will get to the WCF, where they will lose in 6 games to the Lakers.
58 wins - minus 1 plus 2 NW Div Champs (sole possession) At regular season end - 2nd in Western Conf (behind L.A.) Will make it into WCF 2nd Rnd Depending on 2nd Rnd opponent could make it to WCF If the Blazers face the Lakers in WCF - Blazers win Blazers will defeat LA more times during regular season. If Blazers face another opponent in WCF the Blazers will lose. JAFO
This one is curious to me. I understand the 49 wins, but who, pray tell, do you plan on us beating on the road in Round One?
My thinking was this. LA DEN DAL SA POR UTA PHO NO I think SA will limp in with injuries, and Portland will take them out in round one, then lose to the L*kers in round two
Most people give credit to Nate for our win increase each season, so in theory, since he is still coach, we should win somewhere between 65-72 games this season.
52 wins due to a slow start. first in NW. 3rd western conference Loss in 6 in the 2nd round to the Spurs.
I'm pretty sure I had us at 60 wins in some other thread. Oh well. Who knew the practice facility would turn into the Mayo Clinic.
