Well it's good to see that even if the team isn't in mid-season form, MIXUM is ready to go!

Not even a blip on the radar.

We're so deep we're untouchable, except for the whole needing a genuine high-quality distributing PG.

you want the cold hard truth about batum?

playing for france was more important then this season cause id bet $1000 bucks he has surgery in june if not for that euro league crap.

whats more shocking is we let him and still did nothing in early september. either jensen or kp are to blame... or both.

    Indeed.

As long as Roy, LMA and Greg are going strong then Portland will have a lot of success with or without Miller, Batum, Webster, Blake, etc...

If Roy, LMA and Greg are not going strong then none of those other guys is good enough to make up for.

Roy, LMA and Greg: Ladies and Gentlemen, your Blazer core for the next 6 years.

We don't need a second Travis Outlaw. Even a name brand one.

    Gerald Wallce, Prince or Battier.

I would prefer the latter two.

Battier and Landry for Przybilla and Outlaw or Rudy trade is looking better all the time.

I would prefer the former one. ;)

I wouldn't hate to acquire Prince or Battier, but not at the cost of Rudy, I don't think.

As strange as this may sound, I think there are positives to Batum's energy. Finding playing for everyone that deserves it will not be as difficult now.

If we ever had a chance at pulling off a trade for Prince (Outlaw/Bayless/?) now would be the time.

Really? Why? Did Dumars just read that Batum is out and said "now is the time to let go of Prince for Outlaw, JB and change"?

It's time to help my good friends in the Pacific NW?

I am not following the logic here...

This is why we should have signed Udoka and not the injured Mills. We need a wing defender who knows the system, not a pg who is injured, when we are already 3 deep at pg, where Bayless could be a starter for some teams. We need our Bruce Bowen type of player, thats why Batum was the starter, thats why Udoka was the starter a few years back. Now we have Webster who is an average defender and Outlaw, who is a Sergio caliber defender at the wing position.

You are just flat out nuts if you really think that.

Our 15th player won't make a lick of difference. Even with Batum out we don't have enough minutes to go around. Martell and Outlaw did a find job holding down the three spot back in 2007 and we've since added a lot more talent that needs playing time. Batum's injury doesn't create a need for another swing man, it just reduces the minutes crunch a bit.
