MIXUM's just posting the same thing over and over until someone pays attention to him. Don't bother.

How many years (of injuries) will it take for some of our fans to figure out that depth is more important than keeping bench players happy.

Wow, that sucks. I may not be too fond of the guy but it's never good when a guy with potential gets hit with a major injury.

Well this should really have not surprised anybody. He basically has had an injured shoulder and kept playing on it for about 9 months now. Hey what do you know. If your shoulder is hurt, and you keep playing on it, sooner or later it ends up fucked up. Amazing how that works out. :devilwink:

Seems simple enough, but then what was the point of the Blazers bringing him over this summer to get looked at and cleared? Their grasp of preventative medicine appears to be sorely lacking.

I loved the Pippen trade. I even loved the Dale Davis trade at the time, but it wasn't a consolidation trade in the traditional interpretation of a consolidation trades.

    The medical staff sucks.

His shoulder has been banged up since this summer and they let him play through it. Now he's out 5 months.

    From what I'm reading, it's a Labrum tear. I hope they're wrong.

A torn labrum is serious stuff - the surgery is generally refered to as SLAP Type II shoulder surgery.

Last winter, I went "under" for what was supposed to be a torn Rotator Cuff. The MRI is not very accurate at diagnosing shoulder injuries, which makes it difficult to judge until they actually operate. You have to sign a waiver that allows them to do whatever they have to, since the initial diagnosis is not guaranteed.

Sure enough, when I woke up much later than expected and with my whole arm / shoulder wrapped, I knew it was worse than expected - and it was - a labrum tear, which is where your bicep is anchored.

It takes 6 weeks for the tissue to heal, which means your in the harness 24/7 during that time. There after, your looking at months of therapy. For recovery all the way back to the pro level, I would think much longer than 3 months being reported. However, you never know with modern technology.

Regardless, I did make a full recovery and my shoulder feels great.

I wish Nicholas a speedy recovery.

Cool. I think we just found who is starting tomorrow. Can you be at the PF in 3 hours? Look for HCP, he is going to find out what music you want on your highlight reel.

HAHA - very funny. I'm afraid that I'm about a foot too short for the mission. btw, Blake had a Type I surgery, I believe, which is much less serious and a faster recovery, as we all saw.

What is interesting is that assuming Webster starts, they (Webs and Batum) literally reverse their situations from last year.
