After easily dispatching of Zenko Yoshida, Anthony Johnson is queued-up for a major jump in competition. With a lack of welterweight challengers it seems he's a fight or two away from a shot at the title. Who should he face next?

I'm guessing Chris Lytle or Kampmann (since he is now out of the title picture).

I picked Koscheck, Kampmann has lost a bit of the hype surrounding him and wouldn't be that great name wise. Same with Condit, his name isn't that great. But Koscheck is a very beatable opponent that would be able to test AJ's takedown defense and would stand and trade with him too. Fitch, Swick, and Alves would be the next tier he would jump to. I suppose Hardy would be a good opponent too, he's in that Koscheck range.

Koscheck seems like a good choice because he is wanting to fight all the time and seemingly willing to fight anyone (if taking on Alves on short notice is any indication).

Koscheck vs. Johnson would be so damn sick. Someone is getting their head knocked the fuck off.
