Dang, I found it a bit surprising that MB, Wheels, and Rice have the Blazers winning less games than last season. That said, they still see us losing to the Spurs in the 2nd Round.
Im surprised by some of courtsides predictions. I can't sell myself on the idea that San Antonio with that aging, fragile, smaller front line has a shot in beating a bigger, more youthful, frontline of the blazers. I don't know, I think they will be in way over their head. against Portland. Portland will over power them and beat them with their size and youth. The matchup reminds me of the 2000 Semi Final Portland Versus Utah. Portland beat them with their size and youth. Utah couldn't handle them. I just can't believe there wasn't one announcer on courtside who could see the same thing But will see.
what were their predictions exactly? its like saying man the blazers played a great game.... and not knowing the final score.
I think MB predicted 52 wins, Wheels predicted 51 wins. Rice may have had us just above that. Can't remember. Tone had us at 59, though!
And everyone of them had us losing in the 2nd round to San Antonio. They must knwo something we don't know.
