So how are you guys gonna celebrate the season opener tonight? I think I'm gonna pick up some Thai food after my son's karate and eat before the game. Now I'm debating on whether or not to splurge and pick up a pint of Patron Silver or just get some Guinness.
That is a good question!!! I didn't think about it. At least some beers and maybe order a nice Cowboy pizza from Papa Murphys
T-Bones, baked tater and salad for dinner. Poppers with whiskey and coke during the game. My wife makes great jalapeno poppers with peppers from our garden...good shit! We grew one habanero pepper plant, and she's going to make a few poppers with the habaneros. Doubt that I will be able to choke those down though.....they are hot as hell itself! Go Blazers
Dude you get rep for this. Ebineezer beer is awesome beer. I usually grab "Brrr", "Ebeneezer" and "Jubelale" for my winter selection. to you mate.
My wife just called me and said because tonight is the Blazers' first game, she's stopping by our favorite BBQ place and picking up some brisket, pulled pork, cole slaw, baked beans and hush puppies. It makes me want to marry her all over again.
Habenero poppers?!?! Holy smokes! Make sure you eat those at halftime or else you won't be able to concentrate on the game. And apple pie ice cream SE? Heavenly. That reminds me of some apple crisp cheesecake I had from the Beaverton Bakery. THE BEST cheesecake I've ever had in my life. I think I had an orgasm in the Heartbeat Cafe while talking to my wife on my cellphone. The nurses were staring at me but I didn't care.
I am going to fast, only allowing myself to drink beer throughout the day in order to ensure a Blazer victory!
I've got some friends coming over for the game tonight and it turns out that they've ALL been Jonesin' for some of my home-made bacon mac'-and-cheese since the conclusion of last season. - 2 13"x9" casserole dishes - 2 "Baby Loaf" of Tillamook cheddar cheese (shredded) - 1 LARGE bag of elbow macaroni noodles (large or small elbows) - 2 eggs ("beat" into milk) - 1 1/4 cups milk - 1 package of bacon (cut-up into small pieces) Shred cheese, cook pasta/bacon, layer into casserole dishes, drizzle egg/milk mixture over the top of both dishes, then bake for about an hour! Pretty cheap and easy to make... not to mention YUMMY! I'll probably score some Jubelale's for my own drinking pleasure, plus whatever the other folks decide to bring. Should be a FUN night--I can't believe the season is FINALLY here! GO BLAZERS, GO!!!
