    In the midst of all the complaining last night I felt pretty annoyed that the forum couldn't even give it up for the W. No question the Turn Overs were out of control. Hey though we got the W right?

    If you aren't convinced we did well look at these leader board stats. Be sure you go all the way to the bottom. So many Blazers in the top 5 players. That's heartening to see even if it's only the first game and 50%+ of the league hasn't played yet.

    Cle, BOS, LAL, DAL and Portland have all played.

    Yeah that sucks, I have a Bynum vs. Oden bet. Sucks that LA played him major minutes and he got a 13th board.

    It's just one game, but the stat I found interesting was team defensive rating, leading all eight teams with 90.1. Not going to keep that up all year, but it shows you on what end of the floor this game was won.

    There is no such thing as a bad win.

    That said, you can't blame fans for wanting the team to be better than last season. We all want the team to advance to contender status.
