Cleveland is down 36 to 52 against the Raptors. They lost to the Celtics last night too. Any ideas, or is this just a early season fluke?

Shaq Effect? Takes 10 games to adjust to any major new acquisitions!

I thought that might be it, but I didn't want to say it myself...

Either the Raps are that much improved, the Lebrons are in turmoil because of Delonte West and all of his drama, or they are having trouble adapting to Shaq being on the court ... or maybe it's the first week of the season and what you see now isn't indicative of anything at all other than rust and it taking awhile for a team to get back into the swing of things.

I think SHAQ is not good when going to a team that has past MVPs. He was good at teams that did not.

On the Magic - no MVPs, Shaq was fantastic. On LAL - no MVPs until Malone goes there, they lose that year and they break the team. On Miami, no MVPs. They win the ring. D-Wade wins finals MVP. They suck they year after. PHX - Next to two times MVP Nash - Suck. Now, on LeBron's team. Suck.

If he went to OKC, they would have won it all this year. ;)

They were talking about this on PTI. It isn't necessarily good for teams to be playing their best ball at the beginning of the season. There is rarely a championship team that is in 5th gear from opening tip-off all the way through the entire regular season and through the playoffs.

Could be as simple as missed practice time with so many people sick in pre-season. Give 'em a week or two to see if they gel.

Actually I think it's the losing to Boston, and then getting beat by the Raptors (so far).

yeah, maybe because they had a hard loss to Boston, then a back-to-back?

For the same reason why we would be awful if Miller was inserted into the lineup on game one.
