Houston is still a tough team. Excited to see Curry and Turiaf start though.

Yeah I'm also interested to see the big lineup out there with Turiaf and Biedrins. Also curious to see the reaction Stephen Jackson receives tonight.

Randolph with the three at the halftime buzzer! Nice!

Anthony Morrow needs to get the ball more. He's so good at shooting.

Well that thoroughly sucked. We didn't defend the three point line and we took horrible shots. I blame this all on Maggette. :)

Horrible Defense. Magette is terrible. Curry needs the ball in his hands as much as possible. Gonna be a LONG season.

Curry looked good to me. My first extended look at him.

Curry is a fucking stud. He was the best player on the floor for us tonight.

Biedrins looked TERRIBLE. Guy gets worked man-to-man in the post. Mags was also TERRIBLE. Considering that we lost by one point you could easily make the case that his poor play cost us the game. He just kept chucking and chucking.

Monta had a nice game but it's pretty amazing how much worse the team is when hes running the point instead of Curry. None the less I was really happy with him being our "go-to" guy after watching Jack shoot 40% in that role last season. I think he and Curry will make a solid backcourt. Morrow needs the ball more but it seems like Hou was working hard to deny him any good looks.

Houston shot lights out but we gave A LOT of wide open 3 pt shooters. St. Jean made a good point on the post game show that the Warriors were "in the middle" defensively. They obviously weren't playing anywhere near the 3 pt line but they were also not double teaming at all on the inside. Thus there was no pressure on the guys cutting inside who could make an easy uncontested pass to a wide open 3 pt shooter. Gave up way too many offensive rebounds as well.

It's a shame there were so many glaring reasons why the Warriors lost, but one really inexcusable thing is not making free throws. Turiaf missed two in a row in the 4th. I'm not blaming him, but the Warriors as a whole shot 15-23. Come on!

Biedrins seemed skinnier and he sucked, Maggette was horrible. How can you just jack shots up like that and not even give a fuck about winning? I wish we could release him.

Maybe we should have a Robert Rowell day where everyone overpays for crap we don't want, let alone need, and buy a crate of milk the day before it spoils.

    Hahahaha.

The silver lining from last night's game is the backcourt upside of Curry/Ellis. Now the fans have to hope a competent group of ownership/management can step in and build around these two.

I'd really like to see what Avery Johnson could do with the talent on this roster.

Maggette is the reason GS lost. Every time Curry was getting a little spice going with his teammates, Maggette took a big dump on it with brick after brick. I LOVED hearing Gary St. Jean talk about how important Maggette is because of what he brings to the table. He sounded like a used car salesman trying to sell me insurance. Maggette is a square peg and the Warriors rotation is a round hole.

The commentators, casual fans, guys in the studio, coaches, front office all love Maggette for some reason. I hate this guy.
