    good win for the Raps, the Cavs just seemed like they gassed. Just the first game but the team looked good.

    the cavs were definitely gassed and lebron looked confused out there with shaq. in fact, shaq was terrible today, particularly on defense. i know he's always been bad but his inability to dominate the other facets of the ball these days is really exposing what a liability he is defensively. and bargs and bosh like kg and sheed is nightmare matchup for shaq

    definitely possible, with Blake Griffin out for 6 weeks or more, its wide open. Although guys like Johnny Flynn and Tyreke Evans are way more likely because they'll have the minutes and the license to jack up tons of shots.

    Only caught about 2 and half quarters, but man that was an awesome game last night. I particularly loved the defense, man. When it came close in the 3rd and the Raps needed to amp up the intensity, they did so on the defensive end which keyed another strong run. You didn't see that last year or for the past 2-3 years to be honest.

    Bargnani is the man. Still has to keep working on that rebounding, but I saw improvement there as well.

    i actually thought the defense was a work in progress. but they were definitely contesting harder on the defensive end than in previous years. the depth might have a lot to do with it because they can run fresh bodies out there who have the energy to contest everything.

    They didn't make much of an adjustment to the Cavs smaller lineup in the 3rd, which I would've liked to see. And there were certainly some lapses. But I thought the traditional things that bugs the hell out of us (rotations, close-outs, general defensive awareness) were greatly improved. It certainly bodes promising.

    yeah he's been doing it all preseason as well. apparently some raptor fans emailed him about the "lets nba" thing and he said he would incorporate the "lets nba" mantra into the broadcasts

    cant wait to see sonny playing as well.. he looked pretty active all preaseson long and will give us another body to throw out there to get opposition different looks..
