http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writ...ties/index.htmlJarron "The Lesser" Collins missed the start of training camp in Utah while suffering from "severe sunburn."Bobcats center Melvin Ely was robbed for his jewelry late one night after leaving a strip club. Days later, while Ely was visiting a pawn shop to look for said jewelry, the assailant came walking in, saw Ely, then turned and ran.Vince Carter paid to have a life-sized bronze statue of himself erected at his former high school.Following an overtime win against the Raptors, Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas admitted he was tired because he was up late the night before playing video games.Darko Milicic showed up for his first practice with the Orlando Magic with a sunburn, explaining that he had fallen asleep on the beach.

This was a pretty random story I heard in 2005 at the beginning of the NBA season involving Raptors forward Eric Williams. He apperantly tried to launch a clothing line from a Negro Basketball League that he claimed existed yet nobody could confirm that the league actually existed. I couldn't find the exact article online, it must be outdated by now but I retrieved this quote from www.wikipedia.org....<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>In 2005, Williams decided to launch his own line of clothing honoring the Negro Basketball League despite no such league ever having existed.</div>That was realllllly Wacky
