    Arsenal defeated Liverpool today to move deeper into the Carling Cup chase. It is the 7th consecutive season we've reached the quarter finals of the tournament.

    Other teams to advance were Manchester (both), Blackburn, Tottenham, Chelsea, Villa, and Pompy. The quarter-finals begin on the week of the 30th of November.
