Today I paid for vBulletin 4.0. It's not available for download yet, still in beta. When it does become available, I will try the upgrade on a test server and if all goes well, will upgrade the live S2 site. I'll keep you informed when I know more about the availability. I expect it to be a nice upgrade for our experience here.
I think our writings are too depressive, whiney, and militant lol. OTOH it seems like the rest of the league has taken an interest in the crazy antics surrounding GS lately...
Upgrades are fun, but I love the current vBulletin forums, I think it's the best one out there and I hope they don't mess it up for no good reason.
You can see it over at http://vbulletin.com - click on their forums link. They're running the 4.0 beta. I don't see a lot different about the forums, some skinning is all. The interesting thing to me is how good the blogs and publishing system are, and if they're neatly integrated so guys who post in the forums can turn on a blog or post an article with ease.
