I told you all, what you saw in the season was a fluke. Everyone on the team, except Duncan, is hungry for championships they never had (Van exel, Finley) or hungry to be more like leaders and win a championship (Parker, Ginobli). This team is for real, and will stomp the Pistons. They are ridiculously deep.
Yes, having the best regular season in their franchise's history was definetly a fluke. They really aren't this good. They should win the Finals but they won't stomp anybody. How many times do you expect them to score 68% in one half? They won't do it more than once every series and that's the best they can hope for.
pitiful performance by the kings. they looked like the knicks out there haha. absolutlely no defense whatsoever. SA isn't even a great offensive team. i think game 2 is going to be a close one tho. no way SA can shoot like this again.

Most centers are soft, it goes back to that racist thread, haha. I love Brad Miller. His defense isn't good but he can score, shoot, pass very well for a center and his rebounding is alright.Well, the Spurs win by 34 but I don't believe they'll dominate this series. The next game will be closer and if the Kings can steal that one it'll be a whole new series and they'll have the homecourt. The crowd at Arco is very loud.
The spurs just have too much energy. It almost doesn't matter about matchups if the Spurs have too much energy for the Kings to handle. Bibby/Miller are letting Parker get easy layups. Bibby can't stay in front of Parker and Miller isn't helping out on defense.
Well I think with the team and coach they got they can make the right adjustments. The Kings have only given up 94 points per game since getting Artest. They are a decent defensive team. The Spurs won't get this hot again.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Brad Miller is overrated. He is as soft as you get for a center.</div>Yes, I had a debate with Arizona before on him. He's the opposite of what a true center should be. He doesn't scrap for rebounds(look at his minutes and the amount of rebounds he gets), doesn't block shots, gives up easy layups. His gift is his offense, but who wants that out of their center when he's giving it up on the other end? <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Well, the Spurs win by 34 but I don't believe they'll dominate this series. Oh, I wouldn't mind having that out of a center. I'd actually love it, but only if I would have a good defensive PF and SF on my team.
But yes, it would be nicer to just have a guy like a younger Kurt Thomas who can defend, rebound and also has a nice jumper.
I would rather have Dampier at center. At least he is a force on defense. It was ole defense against Parker today. Brad Miller likes to stand around and him not being a factor early in the game on defense forced other players to help out which led to open 3's. Not to blame all of this on Brad Miller but he was one of the main reasons the Kings defense was bad today.
Once again, you people are crazy. They showed last year they can score 120PPG, as they did against Suns, and beat them 4-1 in the series. This year they have even more offense. They have an amazing offense with that deep bench, and the defense is as good as ever.
Yeah, except the Suns were the worst defensive team, playing at a fast pace and without JJ one of the few good defenders on the team, for most of the series. The Spurs will not shoot 68% again in a half...

Okay, well I'm just saying I doubt they have an offensive game like this again. They are not a great offensive team. They are a good one that can score 100 to 105 and that defense will help win with that.
The spurs play much better at a high pace game. They are beatable if you get them in a physical and half court game but the Kings played too fast and the Spurs took advantage of it. The Kings should use the shot clock. Also Bonzi Wells is a terrible passer.
If the Spurs are better at a fast pace game why don't they do that all the time...They are more of a half court, defensive team that is able to run if they have to.
