I know its really early, and i hope i dont get killed by the people in here.

But here is the trade that gets us even closer and made more minutes available.

    Outlaw - 3.6 mil
    Blake - 4 mil
    Pendy - 460k

    to GSW

    From GSW
    SJax - 7.6 mil
    Acie Law - 2.2 mil

    :pimp:

My initial thought is "no", but let's think about this:

Are you thinking that SJax will be our starting 3? Do you think he's up to it defensively?
If you think that Miller and Roy have "issues" coexisting, what would happen if you threw Cap'n Jack into the mix?

I am intrigued the way he plays, but I don't know that he'd supplant Webster as the designated defender of the starters. And if he's here for offense...

Law doesn't make much sense for me, and Pendy can't be traded until the 15th of Dec. iirc.

This would never happen but Captain Jack is a solid defender.

I always get intrigued about the Jackson possibility until I think about it a little longer, and always come back to no. He might make a decent hard nosed defender for us. He's not going to be a stopper any more than Webster is. But Whereas he'll be 32 in April, Webster at least has room to improve in that role, theoretically. Jackson, from every time I have watched him, is a chucker in every sense of the word. He learned well from Baron Davis, apparently. He can run the point for GS at times, but a lot of the times, he'll have the ball in his hand so he can dribble the clock out for 10 seconds, and shoot a 3 pointer. I just don't buy him as a good fit, and I think if there's a sure fire way for us to get to that 41-41 record Bill Simmons predicted, it might just be grabbing Jackson in a one week panic move.

    Love this Stephen Jackson gem...

"I don't want to be a role model. ... Being captain was overrated to me, anyway. You don't do anything but go out before the game and talk to the refs. I don't want to do that, anyway."

He doesnt necessarily have to start, but he can finish. He can be that point forward in the 4th quarter. I just think we can get him on the cheap, cause outlaw and blake arent that great, plus they are enticing to GSW cause they are expiring contracts,

I think golden state would do this in a heartbeat, maybe we can get turiaf in this package

That might be part of the concern, it should worry you if GS would easily do that deal, and I believe that they wouldn't hesitate.

Giving up that little for him? I'd do it and make him the starting SF. He's not a selfish player. Roy needs to learn how to play with others.

    41% FG
    34% 3PT FG
    14.7 career PER

Plus, he is an idiot and has a bad attitude.

    No thank you.

At this point you can get Chris Paul, as long as Nate is the coach we won't find the success we're looking for.

Prove what? That it would never happen? Ok...KP talks about winning with "good guys" all the time...There is no way he brings in a guy with this tatoo...
