Suns aren't impossible to stop. The problem most teams have is they try to run with Suns. Lakers tried that in 1st and 4th quarters and got run out of the building. When they slowed their game down and overall tempo of game, they were dominant.
Some teams can stop us once or twice in a series but the lakers can't and will not. I'm glad this series will be more exciting to watch though.
The Lakers I think have an ok chance in this series. They tried going to other players more and it seemed to work out for them. Also, you cant forget that Kobe shot 7-21 and I dont see that happenning too many times this series. IF the lakers supporting cast can play as well as they did in the first game and Kobe can still get 30 a game for the rest of the series, i see it going to maybe 7 games. I still think that Phoenix will win because the Lakers have to basically play their best ball in order to beat them just one night. So how are they going to do that in a 7 game series?

No, the Suns are just the better TEAM. Marion won't get only 7 rebounds a game and he will score more and play better D on Odom. Raja will not go 1/7 again unless it's Bruce Bowen on him and we'll get more production than 4 points from the House/Jones combo. And Walton won't usually score 19.

However our gameplan worked in quarter 2 and 3, don't make it seem you're lack of scoring was unlucky.When's the next time kobe is going into the 4th with 12 points? Never.You guys need to stop acting cocky, in the end the mavs/spurs are going to trample you. You're gameplan is so easy to shut down especially by high quality teams like the two above. Nobodies going to trample us. I think it's hilarious though that you guys think YOUR defense will stop us and you even have a chance. Congrats though, your gameplan worked for one game like the Mavs' did last season but they actually were able to win that game. This is the best game you guys will play the whole series.

Because your defense will not stop the Suns offense. There are only a couple teams that can and they can only do it a couple games in a series.

Agreed. Even the spurs couldn't shut down the suns offense. The Spurs had to score back at them and outrebound them to win. No one has shut down the Suns. The key is scoring back at them and dominating the boards.

Tim Thomas had a good playoffs with the Bucks when he played there and he has been very good for us this season. He is a very talented player that is playing for his big contract next season. the Suns had 3 players that didn't play as well as usual...I'm not saying our shots weren't falling, I'm saying you guys played good defense and that's why it'll be your best game of the series. That won't happen again with Raja making his 3's and Marion going back to normal.And the Pistons would hold us under 100 for a couple games but no one can do it for the whole series. You guys definetly won't.
This was only game 1, we had alot of guys who were jittery because it was the post season. I think we will have better games, you guys also.Just don't think this series will be a sweep on anything.
I don't think it'll be a sweep. I predicted 5 games, I'm just saying that would be pretty sweet with all the people expecting a upset everywhere.

Or they expect a near upset(nearly everyone). I just think my teams being disrespected and they are a lot better than people are giving them credit for. And the annoying Laker fan at school! AHHHH! I want a quick win so bad.
