I never thought Houston was that bad, so I'm not too upset that they beat the Blazers at home. I did expect the Nuggets to be worse, but they're clearly not, and that one went down to the wire, so not too bad there. We have yet to have a truly bad loss. Losing to OKC might be that, though. OKC is the first game where we'll really miss Batum, as he was/is a Durant-stopper.

That's a good point. Also our Championship window doesn't really open until 2035 when Brandon Roy jr. begins to peak. With Charles Barkley McLovin in the post and LaMarcus Aldridge-Haarlow jr. at the top of the key I think we can start sizing our virtual hologram championship rings!

That's assuming of course that Android David Stern doesn't rig the WCF for New Los Angeles yet again. And to think after the earthquake destroyed old Los Angeles they re-erected the statue of Govenor Kobe! What a waste of tax payer money.

Making a post about not being worried is like throwing gas on the fire of those that are. Get ready for some serious flame if the Blazers drop one in OKC.

I'm not a chicken little kinda guy, but if the team is 1-3 with a loss at OKC, I think that people would be justified in being a little freaked out.

There will be plenty of time to figure things out, but after four games patterns should be easier to detect and if they continue to be the same things (foul trouble, shot distribution, etc.) it will cause a bit of a shitstorm in here :)

I'm starting to wonder if I'll get to the point where I won't be worried because I will no longer care. Replacement refs weren't good but at least they seemed to be equally bad. Regular refs, on the other hand, are making me wonder (well, not for the first time) about whether I should care or not.

NBA + WWF (highly profitable) = WWNBA - Stern thinking that by "fixing" the league the way he wants it, it will be profitable.

    Color me jaded. :sigh:

    Gramps...
