    Did you see how much Mel Gibson's Jesus pic made? I'm sure he's looking at this with figures like that in mind.

    This movie feels more like Oliver Stone's "W" to me. That is to say, a movie financed to promote a specific point of view without consideration to making money.

    Really? I think this guy is focused on making money first and foremost. A major Hollywood movie focused at a Muslim audience has the potential to make big $$.

    It will be interesting to see how much money it makes. I would find it odd and a bit creepy if a biopic of the life of Jesus had a scholar to "oversee all aspects of the shoot", which I take as code language for dictating the vision of the film.
